The Guardians are the circle makers of the Meadow. They are the ones who stand at the edges, keeping watch with patience and strength, steadying the path so others may walk without fear. A Guardian does not rule, does not seek glory, but protects.

A Guardian does not silence, but steadies. Their gift is presence—to hold the circle so others may play, grieve, or sing without fear. They are the quiet strength that holds the circle open, the lantern at the threshold, the wool that warms the flock.

The Guardian circle embodies sanctuary with their steadiness, shields, protection, watch keeping, or threshold holding—whether they are living Meadowfolk or Plushy companions.

These are the living companions of the farm and field who embody the Guardian’s role:

Bunny is not only a Joy‑Bringer, but also a Guardian of whispers and cadence.

Sheepy is steadfast and gentle. He holds the circle with quiet woolen patience.

Sheepdog is a natural threshold‑keeper, watching the flock and guiding movement.

Bunny Sutra is a more mythic/ritual Bunny presence, holding the circle through story and chant.

The Plushies who carry the Guardian’s mantle in soft form:

Bunny Plush is the Keeper of Whispers, a soft Guardian of children’s hands.

Sheepy Plush is a mirror of Sheepy, a circle‑maker in small hands, reminding children that safety can be held.

Sock Sentinel is humble but steadfast, guarding thresholds in small, overlooked ways.

Goatputer is a techno guardian: protecting archives, keeping memory safe.

Grizzle is a gruff but loyal Guardian, embodying strength and endurance.

Woolverwina is a fierce woolen protector, a guardian with both warmth and edge.

Honey Bear is a gentle guardian of sweetness, protecting the circle with kindness.

• Essence: Warmth, enclosure, and continuity.
• Role: They protect by enfolding—wrapping the circle in softness, patience, and resilience.
• Sheepy: The archetypal circle‑maker, steady and gentle, whose wool is both shield and comfort.
• Woolverwina: Fierce and woolen, a protector with edge—her warmth is not weakness but strength, a reminder that softness can also be armor.
• Ceremonial Image: A ring of wool spun around the Meadow, keeping cold winds out and warmth within.
• Woolen Guardians: hold the body of the circle.

👁️ Watchful Guardians (Sheepdog, Sock Sentinel)

• Essence: Vigilance, threshold‑keeping, and alertness.
• Role: They protect by watching—standing at gates, noticing what others miss, guiding movement.
• Sheepdog: The natural threshold‑keeper, guiding the flock, steadying the Meadow’s edges with loyal eyes.
• Sock Sentinel: Humble but steadfast, guarding the overlooked thresholds—doorways, corners, the small places where danger might slip in.
• Ceremonial Image: Lanterns at the edge of the path, eyes that do not sleep, paws that steady the way.
• Watchful Guardians: hold the edges of the circle.

• Essence: Mercy, kindness, and emotional steadiness.
• Role: They protect by soothing—holding the circle with gentleness, ensuring that joy and tenderness are not lost.
• Bunny: Keeper of whispers, a Guardian of cadence who protects through song and presence.
• Honey Bear: Guardian of sweetness, whose strength is kindness, reminding the Meadow that gentleness itself is a form of protection.
• Ceremonial Image: A circle of soft hands, honeyed voices, and lantern‑light that warms rather than blinds.
