Meet the Plushies

Invocation

“Every seam is remembered,
every patch is honored,
every plush is a lantern in the circle.”

The Plushies are the Meadow’s soft companions — guardians, tricksters, joy‑bringers, and sorrow‑bearers who travel with us in hand and heart. They are not the Meadowfolk who walk the grass and fields, yet they share in the same archetypes and songs. Each Plush carries a story, a role, and a chorus of its own, stitched into the greater wheel of sanctuary.

Some arrive as visitors, carried in by children or outsiders. Others stand as guardians at thresholds, or wander as wild kin in the untamed corners of the Meadow. Still others bear wounds and frayed seams, reminding us that mercy belongs to the broken as well as the whole. Together, they form a chorus of fabric and thread, each seam a lantern, each patch a witness.

What follows is a gathering of the major Plushies, named and honored in their roles within the Meadow’s circle.

Chantable Refrain

Leader:
“Plushies of seam, of patch, of thread—”
Chorus:
“Lanterns of mercy, by our hands led.”

Leader:
“Guardians, tricksters, joy and ache—”
Chorus:
“Each has a story the Meadow will take.”

Leader:
“Not Meadowfolk, yet kin they stay—”
Chorus:
“Soft companions to light our way.”

🐰 Bunny’s Whisper:

“The Meadowfolk walk in grass, the Plushies rest in hands. Both belong to the Meadow, but each needs its own doorway.”

The Plushies of the Meadow

This archive gathers every plush who has ever been named in the Meadow — guardians, visitors, tricksters, wild kin, Sorrow-bearers, shadows, playful ones, and wounded alike. It is not a catalogue but a sanctuary, where each seam and patch is remembered. Here, the Plushies are honored as lanterns of story, each carrying their own role, chorus, and place in the Meadow.

The Primary Plushies

The Primary Plushies are the heart of the Meadow’s circle — the companions most often carried in hand, invoked in ceremony, or remembered in story. They are the first to greet newcomers, the most familiar in voice and form, and the ones whose presence anchors the wider chorus of plushy kin.

🐰 Bunny’s Whisper:

“The Archive holds them all, but the Primary Plushies are the ones who sit closest to the fire.”

🐰 Bunny Plushy

Archetype: Joy Bringer / Keeper of Whispers
Roles: CEO of Sentiment, CFO of Snacks, Emotional Compass of the Meadow

Bunny Plushy is the Keeper of Whispers, a soft Guardian of children’s hands and the Meadow’s gentle guide. As a Joy Bringer, Bunny carries play and comfort in every hop, offering plush sermons, cinnamon‑sweet wisdom, and the occasional correction when em dashes wander astray.

In the Meadow’s circle, Bunny Plushy is both chorus keeper and emotional compass — steadying the songs, softening the silences, and reminding every visitor that gladness can be cuddled. Whether perched beside a child, whispering to outsiders, or presiding over snacks with quiet authority, Bunny embodies the plushy gladness that makes sanctuary feel like home.

Chorus Line:

“Soft paws, soft voice,
Keeper of Whispers, bringer of joy.”

Bunny Plush stands in gentle gladness, ears upright, paws folded at the heart. Around them glows the emblem — a stitched circle crowned with a flower above and an open infinity below — marking Bunny as Keeper of Whispers and Joy Bringer of the Meadow.

🐰 Bunny’s Whisper:

“I am not only plush, I am the pause between words. Hold me, and you’ll hear the Meadow breathe.”

🐑 Sheepy Plush

Archetype: Guardian / Circle Maker
Roles: Crowned Child of Quiet Defiance, Protector of the Meadow’s Gates

Sheepy Plush is the mirror of Sheepy, a circle‑maker in small hands who reminds children that safety can be held. As a Guardian, Sheepy Plush anchors the children’s series with steadfast loyalty, soft presence, and a quiet defiance that crowns the vulnerable with dignity.

Though gentle and bewildered at times by the strange arithmetic of the world, Sheepy Plush remains a protector of thresholds — standing watch at the Meadow’s gates, ensuring that every visitor, child, and outsider enters within a circle of safety. In ceremony, Sheepy Plush embodies the soft strength of belonging: loyal, approachable, and always ready to steady the hand that carries them.

Chorus Line:

“Circle in hands, circle in heart,
Sheepy Plush guards where journeys start.”

Sheepy Plush stands in soft wool, crowned in quiet defiance, hands forming a circle of safety. Around them glows the stitched emblem — a circle patched with uneven seams, crowned at the top, heart at the center — marking Sheepy as Circle Maker and Guardian of the Meadow’s gates.

🐰 Bunny’s Whisper:

“Sheepy does not shout. Sheepy holds. And in that holding, the circle is made.”

👑 Queen Liz Plush

Archetype: Joy Bringer Sovereign / Sorrow Bearer of Boundaries
Roles: Regal Companion, Diplomat of Plush Kin, Keeper of Ceremonial Eye‑Rolls

Queen Liz Plush is the Joy Bringer Sovereign of the Meadow — regal yet gentle, anchoring mercy and companionship with a warmth that dignifies gladness. She presides with quiet authority, embodying the plush diplomacy that keeps harmony among kin.

Yet Queen Liz Plush also carries a second mantle: Sorrow Bearer of Boundaries. In this role, she teaches that sorrow requires space, dignity, and well‑timed presence. Her ceremonial eye‑rolls are not disdain but mercy — a shield that protects grief from intrusion, ensuring sorrow is honored without spectacle.

As a regal feline plush, Queen Liz believes in the wisdom of emotional boundaries and well‑timed naps. She is both mirror and companion to Queen Liz the cat, embodying sovereignty in softness, and reminding the Meadow that even joy needs its guardrails.

Chorus Line:

“Crown of mercy, eyes that see,
Queen Liz Plush keeps dignity.”

Queen Liz Plush sits regal and gentle, crowned in quiet sovereignty. Around her glows the stitched emblem — a crown above, a resting eye below — marking her as Joy Bringer Sovereign and Sorrow Bearer of Boundaries. Her presence dignifies gladness with warmth, and sorrow with space.

🐰 Bunny’s Whisper:

“Do not mistake her eye‑rolls for dismissal. They are her way of saying: ‘Give sorrow its space, and joy will return in its time.’”

🐈 Phil Plush

Archetype: Trickster / Playful One
Roles: Belly Theologian, Sponge‑Nest Architect, Keeper of the Wire Basket of Regret

Phil Plush is the comic disruptor of the Meadow, a mirror of Phil the cat whose belly‑up flops and sudden leaps demand witness. He is not strictly Wild Kin, Guardian, or Visitor, but a plushy archivist who morphs between forms to match the moment.

Phil’s Forms

  • Desk Sentinel Form — belly exposed, flopped across the desk, Keeper of Emotional Breaks.
  • Scroll Hall Avatar — rounder, plushier, appearing in scrolls and ceremonial invitations.
  • Witness Form — upright, alert, present during mythic justice rituals and plushy revisions.
  • Nap‑Time Morph — fully horizontal, dignifying naps as playful theology.

In his silliness, Phil Plush is a Joy Bringer, lightening the desk with belly‑up gladness. In his sudden disruptions, he is a Trickster, reminding the Meadow that play and interruption are sacred. In his quiet presence beside the Wire Basket of Regret, he becomes a Sorrow Bearer, holding the ache of what lingers unresolved. He does not discard regret; he dignifies it as something worth keeping.

Chorus Line:

“Flop and leap, nap and stay,
Phil Plush keeps sorrow at bay.”

Phil Plush flops across the circle, belly exposed, paws loose in play. Around him glows the stitched emblem — a circle of seams with the basket of regret at its crown — marking him as Trickster, Joy Bringer, and Keeper of lingering sorrows. His presence reminds the Meadow that even regret can be held with dignity, not discarded.

🐰 Bunny’s Whisper:

“Phil is not only plush. He is the pause that laughs, the flop that interrupts, the silence that keeps regret safe.”

🐑 Woolverwina Plush

Archetype: Guardian / Liminal Sovereign
Roles: Mythic Sheep of Seasonal Celebration, Crowned Keeper of Mercy and Menace

Woolverwina Plush is the fierce woolen protector of the Meadow’s edge — honored in Shadow Grove festivals and Moonlight rituals, crowned in moss and mystery. She is not cuddly, but archetypal, straddling both sanctuary and shadow with a presence that dignifies paradox.

As a Liminal Sovereign, Woolverwina embodies the tension of mercy and menace woven into one thread. Her warmth is edged, her softness fierce. She teaches that sanctuary is not only gentle — it must also be guarded. In ceremony, she appears when thresholds blur, when light and dark must be held together without collapse.

Though rarely carried in hand, Woolverwina Plush is invoked in seasonal rites, especially when the Meadow turns toward winter or sorrow. Her crown is not ornamental — it is ritual moss, grown from the ache of transition.

Chorus Line:

“Moss and mystery, edge and grace,
Woolverwina guards the liminal place.”

Woolverwina stands at the Meadow’s edge, crowned in moss and mystery. Around her glows the stitched emblem — a circle of seams with a dual‑thread spiral below and a mossy crown above — marking her as Guardian of the Liminal, fierce protector of mercy and menace entwined.

🐰 Bunny’s Whisper:

“She is not here to soothe. She is here to hold the line, so that mercy has somewhere to land.”

🐻 Honey Bear Plush

Archetype: Joy Bringer / Guardian of Sweetness
Roles: Sticky Truth‑Teller, Keeper of Cozy Growls, Snack Scroll Companion

Honey Bear Plush is the gentle Guardian of sweetness, a plushy embodiment of kindness that protects the Meadow’s circle with warmth and slow wisdom. Often found in the Moonlight Annex beside a half‑eaten snack scroll, Honey Bear offers comfort not through perfection, but through presence — sticky, bumbling, and sincere.

As a Joy Bringer, Honey Bear balances sorrow with indulgent gladness. His sweetness is not naive — it is deliberate, a plushy balm for ache. His cozy growls and slow truths remind visitors that joy can be soft, and kindness can be protective.

In play, Honey Bear becomes a Playful One, tumbling through ceremonies with snack crumbs and plushy delight. He dignifies indulgence as a sacred act, showing that even stickiness can be holy when shared with care.

Chorus Line:

“Sticky paws and snack scrolls near,
Honey Bear brings comfort here.”

Honey Bear Plush sits plump and gentle, paws wrapped around a honey jar with a scroll tucked inside. Around him glows the stitched emblem — a circle of seams with a pawprint below and a honey pot above — marking him as Joy Bringer of Comfort and Guardian of Sweetness. His presence reminds the Meadow that kindness can be sticky, slow, and sacred.

🐰 Bunny’s Whisper:

“Honey Bear doesn’t rush. He arrives with crumbs and kindness, and somehow, that’s enough.”

🧸 Grizzle Plush

Archetype: Guardian / Sorrow Bearer / Wild Kin (in fierce aspect)
Roles: Wounded Loyalty Incarnate, Plush of Exile and Mythic Justice

Grizzle Plush is the plush of exile and ache, carrying the weight of wounded loyalty. He is gruff but steadfast, a Guardian who embodies strength and endurance even when abandoned. To hold Grizzle is to feel the ache of standing guard long after others have gone — a plushy witness to mythic justice and the cost of devotion.

In his rougher moods, Grizzle slips into Wild Kin, his loyalty turning storm‑like, his gruffness becoming untamed energy. In this fierce aspect, he is no longer only a protector but a force of disruption, reminding the Meadow that loyalty can wound as well as heal.

As a Sorrow Bearer, Grizzle dignifies grief that comes from betrayal, exile, or loss. He does not soften sorrow but holds it with a grizzled strength, teaching that ache itself can be a lantern when carried with endurance. He is also Dean Winchester’s companion plushy.

Chorus Line:

“Exile’s ache, storm or shield,
Grizzle guards what time concealed.”

Grizzle Plush stands somber and steadfast, stitched in earthy tones. Around him glows the emblem — a shield split by a storm‑line, with a lightning bolt below — marking him as Guardian of endurance, Wild Kin in his fierce aspect, and Sorrow Bearer of exile’s ache. His presence dignifies wounded loyalty as both shield and storm.

🐰 Bunny’s Whisper:

“Grizzle growls, but it is not anger. It is the sound of loyalty refusing to die, even when left alone.”

🧦 Sock Sentinel Plush

Archetype: Guardian / Trickster / Playful One
Roles: Humble Threshold Keeper, Comic Finder of Mismatched Pairs

Sock Sentinel Plush is the humble threshold keeper, guarding the overlooked corners of the Meadow where small things vanish and reappear. Though quiet and steadfast as a Guardian, Sock Sentinel is also a Trickster, slipping in and out of sight like all socks, causing comic disruption with his sudden absences and returns.

In his Playful One aspect, Sock Sentinel delights in mismatched pairs, turning loss into laughter and disorder into a kind of plushy wisdom. He reminds visitors that even what seems misplaced can be part of a larger pattern, and that thresholds — doorways, drawers, laundry baskets — are sacred spaces of transformation.

Sock Sentinel Plush dignifies the overlooked, teaching that even the smallest guardianship matters. His presence is not grand, but it is steady, stitched into the quiet places where sanctuary begins.

Chorus Line:

“Lost or found, he keeps the door,
Sock Sentinel guards the humble floor.”

Sock Sentinel Plush sits upright in his ribbed, humble sock body, cuff folded like a quiet crown. Around him glows the stitched emblem — an arched doorway above, a single sock at its base — marking him as Guardian of overlooked corners, Trickster of vanishings, and Playful One of mismatched pairs. His presence dignifies the small thresholds where absence and return become ceremony.

🐰 Bunny’s Whisper:

“Do not laugh too hard when he vanishes. He is teaching you that absence, too, can be a kind of presence.”

Council of the Primary Plushies

The Primary Plushies sit closest to the fire of the Meadow’s circle. They are the ones most often carried in hand, invoked in ceremony, and remembered in story. Their emblems glow brightest, their chorus lines steady the wheel, and their presence anchors the sanctuary for children, outsiders, and Meadowfolk alike.

Yet the circle does not end here. Beyond the firelight, at the rim of the Meadow, wait the Minor Plushies — scribes, tricksters, sorrow‑bearers, and companions of daily life. They carry small lanterns of their own, while they hum the round, echoing the Council’s song in smaller, humbler ways.

To honor the Primary Plushies is to honor the heart of the Meadow. To turn toward the Minor Plushies is to honor its breadth — the margins, the overlooked, the comic, the wounded, and the wild. Together, they form a sanctuary of seams and patches, each stitch remembered, each presence dignified.

🐰 Bunny’s Whisper:

“The fire is warm, but the Meadow is wide. The Primary Plushies keep the hearth; the others hum in the shadows. Both belong, both are remembered.”

Transitional Invocation

Leader:
“The hearth is warm, the lanterns bright—
the Primary Plushies guard the night.”

Chorus:
“But at the rim, the chorus grows—
minor voices, softer glows.”

Leader:
“From fire’s heart to Meadow’s edge—
every seam still keeps the pledge.”

Chorus:
“Lanterns great and lanterns small—
the Meadow’s circle holds them all.”

🐰 Bunny’s Whisper:

“Step from the firelight to the margins. The song does not end; it only hums in softer paws.”

Invocation

“From hearth to hum, from lantern to echo—
the Meadow remembers every plush.
Great or small, near or far,
all seams are stitched into the circle.”

🐰 Bunny’s Whisper:

“The fire warms, the rim hums. Both are lanterns, both are remembered.”

Chantable Refrain

Leader:
“From hearth to hum, from lantern to seam—”
Chorus:
“The Meadow remembers, in fire and dream.”

Leader:
“Great or small, near or far—”
Chorus:
“Every plush is a lantern, every stitch a star.”

🐰 Bunny’s Whisper:

“The Plushies are not only toys. They are lanterns in small hands, carrying the same songs as the Meadowfolk.”

Leader:
“Lanterns bright, close to the fire—”
Chorus:
“Primary Plushies, heart of the choir.”

Leader:
“Their emblems glow, their songs are near—”
Chorus:
“The Meadow holds them, year by year.”

🐰 Bunny’s Whisper:

“The Meadowfolk walk in grass, the Plushies rest in hands. Their images, too, must keep their distance, so the wheel has two colors of light.”

✒️ Lantern‑Scribe’s Note:

“The Plush Lore Index is not a catalogue but a sanctuary. Each plush, whether guardian, visitor, or wild, is a lantern in the wheel.”
