Currents do not wander lost.
The Meadow holds them,
in ripples, reeds, and quiet flow.

Those who rise from water arrive in shimmer and hush —
a silver flicker beneath the surface,
a laugh carried downstream,
a shadow lifting from a stone,
a splash that might be greeting or warning or play.

Moon‑pull shapes them.
Rain‑song guides them.
Deep pools keep their secrets,
and shallow runs carry their chatter.

May the Meadow open its soft banks
to those who come by way of water,
and may their stories drift toward belonging
like ripples widening into light.

These are the Meadowfolk who live where the water bends — in currents, reeds, ripples, and quiet banks. They are glimpsed more often than they are met: a flash of silver beneath the surface, a laugh carried downstream, a shadow lifting from a stone, a splash that might be play or warning or greeting.

The Riverkin move in their own rhythm, answering to moon‑pull and rain‑song, to the hush of deep pools and the chatter of shallow runs. Some are swift and bright, some slow and ancient, some curious, some shy, all shaped by the flowing world they call home.
