The Meadow Grows Through Small Acts of Care
The Meadow is my small, ongoing work of care — a place where soft companions, gentle stories, and household rituals become a kind of sanctuary. It is a world tended softly, with attention and affection, shaped around the belief that softness is a form of strength.
At the center of this world are Sheepy and Bunny, the first companions of the Meadow and the gentle heartbeats of its stories. Sheepy carries the fleece of comfort and steady care, always ready to sit beside a child or outsider who needs a moment of rest. Bunny brings the whisper of play and wonder, guiding readers through the Meadow’s paths with gentleness and curiosity. Together, they help children feel secure and welcomed, and they help grown‑ups remember the small mercies that make a place feel like home.
I’ve created a GoFundMe campaign to help bring the first Meadow books into the world through Cehammock LLC, the tiny publishing home behind this project. These books introduce Sheepy, Bunny, and their Meadowfolk friends in stories meant to offer comfort, imagination, and a sense of belonging.
